Introduction to the EMD-API
EMD-API is one unified interface to the best reference wind datasets and renewable energy services. EMD-API is a specialized data-repository and data-service with direct access to more than one peta-byte of geo-spatial data aimed at renewable energy applications. Most of the data is used on a daily basis by thousands of energyPRO and windPRO users. With the EMD-API it is now also possible to use the data in workflows driven by scripting languages such as python or R.
